Dr. Jayashree Sinha M.D.
Dr. Sinha is a board-certified rheumatologist in Clovis, New Mexico, where she opened her own practice in November 2007. Dr. Sinha owns the clinic and has a daughter in her 20s with her husband, Dr. Bhaskar Sahay, an internist. Clovis is a small town with a population of around 50,000. It gives Dr. Sinha satisfaction to work in a physician shortage area where she can fulfill the needs of people who normally have to travel large distances for specialty care. Dr. Sinha treats all inflammatory conditions.
Dr. Sinha was born in India and received her MBBS medical degree at Rajendra Medical College in Ranchi, India. She did her internal medicine residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and her rheumatology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, New York. She moved to New Mexico in 2002 and has enjoyed working there. Her philosophy of care is to treat every patient as her own parent or child so that she can provide the best possible care. Dr. Sinha’s hobbies are reading, listening to music, doing yoga, and watching movies.
