Dr. Sadiq Ali, M.D.

Dr. Sadiq Ali is dual Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He is a native of Toledo, Ohio, with parents who immigrated to the United States from India. Dr. Ali graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor in Science (B.S.). He then attended Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) to complete his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. From there, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. Afterwards, he was accepted for fellowship training in rheumatology at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC.

He has practiced rheumatology since 2014, relocating to Texas in 2016 to be closer to his wife, a native of Houston. He remains an active member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), American College of Rheumatology (ACR), and American Medical Association (AMA). He was previously selected as a medical honoree by a local Arthritis Foundation during its annual Walk for a Cure and has served on residency training peer professionalism review committees. He has been a guest lecturer at local residency programs and continues to mentor future doctors.

At home, he is a proud father of two young boys and a devoted husband to his wife, Rabia. His eldest son is a heart warrior, having undergone surgery for congenital heart disease at the age of three months at Texas Children’s Hospital. Outside of staying up to date with the latest advancements in rheumatology, he enjoys exploring the natural world, sports, and cinema. He has hiked along trails in the Rocky Mountains and ridden on horseback along the western edges of the Himalayas. He continues to play recreational tennis and golf. Dr. Ali is happy to call southeast Texas home.
