Dr. Sunshine obtained his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his Rheumatology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital / Jackson Health System in Miami, FL. Dr. Sunshine is renowned for his compassionate and respectful patient care. He is board certified in Rheumatology. He has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals of Rheumatology. Over the years, he has appeared in television, Internet, and radio, both nationally and internationally addressing the public on topics of rheumatology, including rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.
