Dr. Keivan Dehghanpisheh, MD PhD
Dr. Dehghanpisheh is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He treats all Rheumatologic conditions but has advanced training and expertise in autoimmune diseases. He developed an interest in the immune system and started laboratory research in college. He was awarded a PhD in Immunology while conducting research into the basis of autoimmune diseases such as Lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis in the laboratory of renowned Immunologist Jack Marchalonis.
He was born in his father country of Iran and raised in his mother country, USA. He considers his multicultural background and strong scientific training as essential to providing individualized care to his patients. His studies have afforded him the opportunity to live in many different locations in the country. He attended Arizona State University for his B.S. in Microbiology and University of Arizona for his Ph.D. in Immunology. He attended Oregon Health and Sciences University for his MD and University of New Mexico for his Residency in Internal medicine. He completed his Rheumatology Fellowship at one of the nation’s best Rheumatology training programs, University of Alabama Birmingham.
Dr. Dehghanpisheh entered medical school with the goal of becoming a Rheumatologist. He has presented at local and national scientific meetings. He has been a Reviewer for the American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting. He has treated patients with Rheumatologic conditions in Palm Beach County since 2005. He is the founder of his current practice with multiple office locations and offers office infusion treatments to serve his patients.
