Adahli E. Massey, MD, FACR
Dr. Massey is a board-certified rheumatologist who specializes in the treatment of arthritides, immune disorders, and osteoporosis. Some of the most common conditions she treats in her practice include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, osteoporosis, vasculitides, back disorders, joint disorders, and disorders of the connective tissue.
Dr. Massey received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Puerto Rico, where she also completed her Internal Medicine residency. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Massey has participated in clinical research in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia. She is currently an Instructor of Medicine of the University of Alabama Birmingham’s Internal Medicine program in Montgomery. Dr. Massey has published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has given multiple lectures for physicians at conferences sponsored by pharmaceutical companies.
