Dr. Burford-Foggs is a practicing rheumatologist, who has concentrated for many years on complex medical conditions and patients with various autoimmune disorders including SLE and Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is triple Board Certified in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, and Geriatrics. Her practice style includes the holistic treatment of the patient.
In order to effectively evaluate and treat patients with increased severity of illness, multiple co-morbidities, and/or disability challenges, appointments are more extensive than what patients may have become familiar with in the medical world today. Additionally, in order to accommodate the daily life of many patients, late afternoon and evening appointments are available.
