Lawrence J. Leventhal, MD, FACP, FACR

Lawrence Leventhal, MD, is Chief of Rheumatology at the Holy Redeemer Medical Center in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, and Medical Director of Comprehensive Arthritis Care Consultants, LLC in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Dr. Leventhal is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Rheumatology, and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. He has conducted extensive research on rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and osteoarthritis. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, as well as the Quality of Life Professional Education Award from the Arthritis Foundation.

Dr. Leventhal’s articles have been published in numerous journals including Annals in Internal Medicine, Journal of Rheumatology, Arthritis and Rheumatism, American Journal of Medicine, Archives of Internal Medicine, and Neurology. He has served as President of the Philadelphia Rheumatism Society, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, and as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology. Dr. Leventhal has been included in Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctors, US News and World Reports Top Doctors, and Best Doctors in America.

When not at the office, Dr. Leventhal enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and enjoys lecturing nationally on a wide variety of arthritis topics.

Sherilyn McCollum, D.O., FACR

Dr. Sherilyn McCollum is a Philadelphia suburban native. She attended Temple University for her undergraduate studies in Biology and History, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2004. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University – SOM) in Stratford, New Jersey in 2008. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in 2011. She remained at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia for her Rheumatology Fellowship, which she completed in 2013.

AARA Doctor McCollum

Dr. McCollum served as the Division Head of Rheumatology at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Easton, PA prior to joining Comprehensive Arthritis Care Consultants in 2017. Dr. McCollum enjoys diagnosing and managing many rheumatic diseases, but she has a special interest in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, seronegative spondyloarthropathies, and crystal arthropathies such as gout.

Dr. McCollum is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Pennsylvania Rheumatology Society, Philadelphia Rheumatism Society, and Bucks County Medical Society. Dr. McCollum resides in Bucks County, PA with her husband, Michael, and miniature dachshund, Sophie.

Outside of medicine, Dr. McCollum is an avid dancer, both training and performing regularly in the genres of tap, jazz, ballroom, and Latin dance. She also enjoys traveling, exercising, and reading.
