He also trained at the Lupus Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed his rheumatology fellowship at the University of Virginia in 2012. He has been in clinical practice since.

Daisy Herbas, AGACNP, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Tampa and Orlando, Florida, with expertise in adult gerontology acute care and autoimmune diseases.
She earned her Master’s degree magna cum laude from the University of South Florida in 2023. Her background includes inpatient nephrology, managing complex conditions such as ANCA vasculitis and lupus nephritis. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and earned her BSN from Seminole State College.
