Dr. Waleed Bolad, M.D.

He graduated with Honors from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest and completed his internal medicine residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He also trained at the Lupus Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed his rheumatology fellowship at the University of Virginia in 2012. He has been in clinical practice since.

Dr. Omer Idrees, M.D.

Dr. Omer Idrees is a fellowship trained rheumatologist and board certified internal medicine physician serving patients in Tampa and Orlando, Florida. He specializes in autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.

A Florida native, he graduated from Windsor University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Florida in Pensacola, where he served as Academic Chief Resident. He later completed his Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Alissa Ledgerwood, NP-C

Alissa Ledgerwood, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Tampa and Orlando, Florida, with extensive experience in rheumatology and autoimmune disease care.

She earned her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida in 2014 and has over six years of rheumatology experience treating complex inflammatory and musculoskeletal conditions. She also holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Molecular Microbiology and Nursing from the University of Central Florida and brings more than fifteen years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including in Neuro Intensive Care.

Daisy Hervas, ARNP

Daisy Herbas, AGACNP, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Tampa and Orlando, Florida, with expertise in adult gerontology acute care and autoimmune diseases.

She earned her Master’s degree magna cum laude from the University of South Florida in 2023. Her background includes inpatient nephrology, managing complex conditions such as ANCA vasculitis and lupus nephritis. She now focuses on rheumatology, treating a broad range of inflammatory and systemic disorders.

Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and earned her BSN from Seminole State College.

Alona Dniprovska, ARNP

Based in Tampa, Florida, she brings international medical experience with a strong background in orthopedics and advanced nursing practice. She specializes in diagnosing and managing joint, musculoskeletal, and rheumatic conditions using an evidence based, patient centered approach.

She holds a PhD in Orthopedics and Traumatology and previously served as an Assistant Professor at National Pirogov Memorial Medical University. Her experience includes clinical research on therapies for arthritis, pain, and autoimmune diseases.
