Dr. Amina P. Chatha, M.D.
Dr. Chatha established Florida Rheumatology Associates in 2016. She moved to the United States after finishing medical school in Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine training at State University of New York, Buffalo and her subspecialty training in Rheumatology at the University of Florida, Gainesville. She worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York for three years prior to moving to Florida and spent another two years working as a hospitalist at Florida Hospital in Tampa prior to going back to school for Rheumatology training.
She enjoys building long term relationships while making a tremendous positive impact on the lives of so many of her patients devastated by their disabling and disforming rheumatic diseases. She is married to another busy physician and is also a mother to two young boys. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and the great Florida outdoors.
