Pamela Scott, NP-C
Pamela Scott is a native Californian. She moved to Visalia about 35 years ago where she pursued the beginning of her nursing career at a College of Sequoias. After she graduated she worked in Oncology, doing chemotherapy and radiation treatment management. During her time in oncology she pursued her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Fresno State. After about 17 years in Oncology she transitioned into Rheumatology. She started as an infusion nurse at Dr Watrous’ office, then pursued her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Fresno State. She has been practicing as a Rheumatology NP for the last 8 years. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, California Rheumatology Alliance and Sigma Theta Tau, a Nursing Honor Society. Pam enjoys spending time with her two daughters, wine tasting, taking her dogs for long walks and just relaxing and reading a good book.
Kristin Hopper, NP-C
Kristin Hopper has lived here in the Central Valley with her family for years. She joined our office in 2016. Kristin has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Visalia since graduation with experience in Family Practice and the Urgent Care Setting. She started as a Registered Nurse over 25 years ago after finishing the College of the Sequoias nursing program. After several years of working in both the hospital and outpatient setting, completed a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from California State University of Bakersfield. More recently completed her Masters Degree in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner focus at California State University of Fresno in 2010. She is certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has membership with Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. In her free time, Kristin enjoys traveling with her husband and visits with her two grown children.
Cynthia Shipp-Rowell NP-C
Cindy Rowell has lived here in the Central Valley with her family for years. She joined our office in 2019. Cindy has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Visalia since graduation with experience in Emergency room, Family Practice and Urgent Care Setting. She started as a Registered Nurse over 30 years ago after finishing the College of the Sequoias nursing program. After several years of working in both the hospital and outpatient setting, she attended Stanford University where she attended the Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant program, completed her studies December 1999. She is certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has membership with American Women In Rheumatology. In her free time, Cindy enjoys traveling with her family and spending time with her two grandchildren.
Grisell Ramirez NP-C
Grisell Ramirez joined the practice in 2021. She attended California State University, Fresno where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After graduation she worked at Community Regional Medical Centers in the Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse for 5 years. She then continued her education at the University of California, San Francisco where she obtained her Master’s of Nursing with an emphasis of Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2012, has experience in Family Practice and Internal Medicine. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to Mexico City where she was born and raised. She also enjoys reading, playing sports and spending time with her family.
Angelica Gutierrez FNP-C
Maria Angelica Gutierrez, FNP-C joined SPARC in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of nursing experience that spans the full spectrum of patient care. Her journey began as a certified nursing assistant and progressed through roles as a licensed vocational nurse and registered nurse. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fresno, where she completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Angelica has over nine years of emergency room experience at Community Regional Medical Center and spent three years serving as a primary care provider in Kerman, CA with Adventist Health.
A proud first-generation daughter of migrant workers, Angelica was born in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico, and raised in Fresno, California. She values time with her family and enjoys visiting Mexico.
Colleen Gleason NP-C
Colleen Gleason grew up in Tulare county and has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. After working at Kaweah Delta hospital for many years, she graduated with a Master’s degree from UC Davis School of Medicine as both a nurse practitioner and physician assistant in 1999. She has worked with Dr. Charles Boniske and Dr. Watrous since then in rheumatology and really enjoys the patients she has been able to help over the years. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and her family.
Jordan Daniels NP-C
Jordan Daniels has lived in the Central Valley with his family since 2017. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Public Health and later earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Prior to specializing in Rheumatology he served the community in both Family Practice and Urgent Care settings.
Jordan enjoys playing sports, traveling, fishing, hiking, running and skiing with his wife, two children, and two dogs. Having previously worked in construction, he also enjoys working on projects in his home. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
