Nurse Practitioners
Mary Jane Strandberg is a proud grandma of three and the mother of four. MJ relocated from the Northeast and is a budding artist in her spare time and loves to cook, especially Italian food. She has been a nurse for over 30 years and with the practice for eight years and has a strong background in E.R. and I.C.U. Medicine. MJ loves her transition to Rheumatology as she enjoys learning new things and loves getting to know patients and their families and working with them to develop the best health possible. MJ loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Rachel Busch Feuer has been with the practice since the beginning. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology and later nursing, before pursuing her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Miami. She has worked in Internal Medicine and Pain Management prior to finding her passion in Rheumatology. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners & Florida Society of Rheumatology. Her desire to educate others has translated into her being the founder and chair of the AARA APP Committee. She is married, has a bird and a dog. She enjoys snowboarding, martial arts and singing in her spare time.
Roslyn Andrade has joined our center crossing over from internal medicine. After seventeen years as an RN, she advanced her career by pursuing her master’s. She received her bachelor and master’s degree in nursing from Nova Southern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She previously worked in Massachusetts as an RN before relocating to Florida in 2007. She recently married and has two dogs and two parrots. She loves to travel and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Rachel J. Smith is originally from Saginaw, Michigan, where she began her patient care journey in 2008, as a nursing assistant. In 2011 she moved to North Carolina and became a Registered Nurse. While working as a RN, she went on to become a family nurse practitioner in 2017 with honors from Winston Salem State University, North Carolina. She previously worked in Norfolk, Virginia before relocating to Florida with her family in 2021.
Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Rachel has developed a strong clinical background in Family Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine and Wound Care. She has found the transition to Rheumatology to be an ideal application of her experience as well as an opportunity to gain more knowledge to provide the best outcomes for her patients.
When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also loves animals, she has a 10 year old Australian Sheppard Lab mix, named Buddy. She enjoys reading, baking and kayaking.
